I took an elk's mating calls and manipulated them to sound like a monster scream. I use this for nightgaunts in our podcast ballad of the seven dice.

Experimented with some gargle sounds. Might work well with monsters or zombies. Cut these samples up and use them however you like!.

The sound was made from a one siring instrument called the autoviolin. I made and recorded it in 1980, and am now fiddling with the computer to clean up the sounds before they are lost. Processed with paulstrech.

The booms/growls/roars, what ever you like to call them, in this file goes from c to c in case you want it to be key spesific. I don't care if you give me credits for it or not.

During my exchange semester i took a class called "sound and electronics in theater". We had to do an editing project where i had to make a 30 second sample of the sentence “a large monster charged a whole group of people. This is my first noise i've ever uploaded, so any tips to improve this or any future sounds are welcome. The original sound came from a subway car screeching to a halt and it was edited with audacity and adobe premiere. Enjoy!.
